Roasted Pecans

Ingredients:
  • 1 pound pecan halves
  • 1/3 cup of salt
  • 1 quart of water

 Preparation:

Soak the pecans in the salt water for 1 hour.
Dry the pecans very well with paper towels.
Place Pecans on a baking pan and place pan on center
rack of oven.
Roast pecans at 325° for about 1 hour.
Keep watch and stir occasionally until they begin to brown.
